Andrew E. Krupitsky, D.O. who is Board Certified in Family Practice, started his association with Altamonte Family Practice in August, 1990. After undergraduate studies at Tufts University, he graduated from the NY College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1984. Postgraduate studies included an internship at Richmond Height General Hospital (Ohio) and a Family Practice Residency at Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Stratford, New Jersey. After residency, Dr. Krupitsky completed a military scholarship commitment at MacDill AFB, FL as a medical officer for three years.
Dr. Krupitsky has been involved in medical affairs ever since his student days. He served as chairman of the Family Practice Department of Florida Hospital for two years. Remaining involved in hospital medical affairs for six years, Dr. Krupitsky completed a two year term as Chief of Staff at Florida Hospital Altamonte.
His leisure interests include cycling, golf and classical music. He has been married to his wonderful wife of almost 30 years. Both his adult children live in Brooklyn which provides many excuses to visit his birthplace.
Dr. Christensen was born in Bartlesville, OK. She graduated magna cum laude from Cal State Hayward, majoring in biochemistry. Then, she attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, and she graduated with alpha omega alpha honors. She then completed a family medicine residency in Austin, Texas at Brackenridge Hospital. She has been board certified in family medicine since 1997.
Dr. Christensen’s focus in medical care is women’s health and general preventive medicine. She cares about assuring that all of her patients have the health screenings that are needed and detecting disease such as hypertension, diabetes and high cholesterol early in order to prevent complications. She also treats all other facets of family medicine including respiratory, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal and psychological disorders. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine and the Florida Academy of Family Medicine.
In her free time , she enjoys traveling, dancing, movies and reading. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
Cynthia Bridges, ARNP, FNP-BC rejoined Altamonte Family Practice in July 2015. She was a member of the Altamonte Family Practice team from 1998 through 2006 when she left to pursue her nursing career. She has come full circle and returns to us to work in the field of Family Medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Central Florida in 2009. She graduated from Graceland University Family Nurse Practitioner Program in April 2015 with a Masters of Science in Nursing and became board certified in May 2015. Cynthia has been a critical care nurse in the community since 2008.
Cynthia comes to us with 19 years of experience in health care, ranging from family practice to critical care. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has a passion for community health and preventative care and is dedicated to providing quality care to patients across a lifespan.
Paula Paton, ARNP, NP-C, CCRN joined Altamonte Family Practice in January 2017. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix in 2012. She graduated from the Frontier Nursing University Family Nurse Practitioner program in December 2016. Paula has been practicing as an RN since 1984, specializing in adult and pediatric critical care, cardiothoracic surgery, and dialysis. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in nursing.
Paula is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Florida Nurse Practitioner Network, and serves as committee chair for the Central Florida Advanced Nurse Practice Council. She has acted as a preceptor and mentor to many nursing students and has presented at national conferences. She is dedicated to serving her patients across the lifespan, and feels passionate about pediatrics, preventative health, and the complexities of obesity.
